From a 6-Day Promise to a 3-Week Nightmare: My Experience with Terrible Service 😤


I’m writing this as a warning to anyone thinking of ordering glasses online to save a few dollars. My experience turned into a three-week-long nightmare of waiting and being completely ignored. It got to the point where I had to share my final thoughts on their site: Do not believe the estimated production times! 6 business days became 14 before I finally cancelled because they had no idea why it was delayed. There were multiple attempts at getting an update from customer service, who could only say “someone will get back to you in 1-2 days.” Nobody ever did, and when they said that was the best answer they had I had to finally cancel. My local shop will have these ready in 1 week, and I am mad at myself for waiting 3 weeks for this terrible website to not be terrible just to save a few bucks. I felt I had no other option but to call them one last time, which led to this conversation.

Customer: I need an update on my order. It’s been 14 business days, well past the 6 you estimated. I’ve heard nothing.

CS Rep: I am very sorry for the delay, sir. Let me check… I see your order is still in production. I don't have a specific reason for the delay noted here.

Customer: That's the same useless answer I've gotten for a week. You guys keep saying "someone will get back to you" and no one ever does. Can you give me a real answer or not?

CS Rep: I understand your frustration. The best I can do is escalate this again and have our lab team email you within the next 1-2 business days with an update.

Customer: No. That’s the best you have? Then cancel it. Cancel my order right now. I’m done with this.

CS Rep: I am truly sorry it has come to this. I have cancelled the order. You should see a full refund in 3-5 business days.
