Premium Lenses, Premium Price... Premium Disappointment & A Warranty Battle 😤


I'm writing this as a warning about my truly disappointing experience. I thought I was upgrading my purchase, but it led to nothing but frustration. Everything about working with GlassesUSA was great until the glasses defect surfaced. I paid for premium lenses including the $48 extra for the Super Hydrophobic coating. These lenses are nearly impossible to clean. When I realized this wasn't a user issue but a clear defect, I had no choice but to contact their customer service, hoping they would honor their advertised warranty.

Customer: Hi, I have an issue with my order. I paid extra for the Super Hydrophobic coating, and these lenses are impossible to get clean. They just smudge endlessly. This is a defect. CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with your new lenses. I understand how frustrating that must be. Customer: Frustrating is an understatement. Your site advertises a 365-day warranty, but I was offered a 50% store credit for a defective product. All I want is a replacement pair with the coating applied correctly. CS Rep: I understand you're seeking a replacement under warranty. While our standard return policy offers store credit, I can escalate your case to our review team to investigate this as a manufacturing defect. They will contact you via email in 3 to 5 business days. Customer: So I can't even speak to a live person on the phone about this? I have to wait days for an email? This is not the service I expected for a premium product.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hold them accountable and hopefully prevent others from paying for premium features that aren't delivered.
